Browsing the Site

If you are a visitor to our website, you may do so without entering any personal data.  As part of our web server log retention, we will collect and store certain information about your visit.  This information will never identify you personally and cannot be linked back to you unless you decide to identify yourself.  If you are only browsing, we collect the following information: IP address, type of browser, operating system used, the date and time you access our site, the pages you visit, and if you linked to our website from another website, the address of that referring website as well as additional information related to your visit.  This information is used for statistical purposes, and to assist in diagnosing problems with our server.

Advertisers

As part of the sign-up agreement, we will collect basic information from you before posting your advertisement.  This information will include Full Name, e-mail address, and possibly your telephone number.  Your advertisement will include your e-mail address, so that prospective clients may contact you regarding your horse.  To protect your e-mail address from spammers, we will only include it as part of the image or PDF file for your advertisement.  If we need to put your e-mail address in a web page, for any reason, it will be obsfucated from robots.

We use Paypal as our payment processor for all advertising transactions.  We do not collect, or even have access to, your credit card or Paypal information.  Web pages that require sensitive information will be encrypted with Secure Socket Layers (SSL).  This can be verified by the padlock symbol in your browser.

Under the advertising agreement, we may contact you at the e-mail address provided during sign up.  This contact will be to conduct business on KyBIF Only related to your advertisement, or to announce advertising specials being offered on the website.  We will not, under any circumstances, send our customers unsolicited e-mails. 

We will never, within the confines of the law, release any personally identifiable information about our advertisers.

Cookies
